Description:
Over the past decade our Arts program has gone far beyond the traditional ‘Arts & Crafts’ it once was & provides a space for creativity & originality to flourish via ALL of the arts including (& not limited to) music, drama, dance, culinary creations, and a general craftiness of visual art. It is limitless what can be done with cardboard & duct tape. An ideal candidate of Arts Coordinator is over the age of 18 by July 1st 2020, has a propensity for creating in any of these mediums, has experience leading groups of people aged 7 - 15 in a variety of settings, carries a willingness to enter the camp atmosphere & an undying passion for the arts.
The responsibilities of the Arts Coordinator are as follows:
1. Preparing four 45 – 60 minute art related experiences for groups ranging in size from 15 – 20 people each week. This includes:

The Arts coordinator will work independently with the creation & execution of their program with the added support of the programming staff. The Arts Coordinator is encouraged to get to know the campers & lend support to counsellors in downtime before and after meals as well as participating in opening & closing day songs, skits & stories. - Creating an inviting atmosphere of our Arts Hall
- Working with counsellors to find ways to engage campers in a different way of thinking
- Taking stock, utilizing, and ordering necessary resources for sessions
3.Work in conjunction with programming staff. This includes:
- Helping the ongoing brainstorm process
- Assisting the set up of post-dinner camp game.
